Explored how to "Embrace Uncertainty and Eat for a Sustainable Future" in the 6th Good Food Summit

From October 25th to 28th, we hosted a successful 6th Good Food Summit with the theme of "Embracing Uncertainty and Eating for a Sustainable Future". The Summit explored how China's food system can better cope with current and future challenges--from pandemics and trade disputes to climate change and wars--and adopt more resilient development strategies.

Brimming with content and excitement, the Summit included an opening forum, seven thematic sub-forums (Agriculture and Rural Development Forum , Animal Welfare Forum, Healthy and Sustainable Diet Forum, Food Retail Forum, Food Waste Reduction Forum, Food Education Forum, and Business Forum), two model cases sharing sessions, 13 offline screenings of the documentary 10 Billion Mouths in cities across China with an online session with the writer and the director. More than 100 experts, scholars, thought leaders, entrepreneurs, non-profit leaders, and industry representatives from home and abroad shared the latest developments, insights, and experiences from the front lines of food system reform. Most of the 2022 Practice Case Collection award winners also shared at the Summit, bringing China's food system innovations to the world stage.

A total of 95 media partners promoted the Summit, and many major media outlets such as Xiaokang Magazine and China Economic News Network broadcasted and reported on it. The Summit attracted more than 500 registered applicants and 900 online community members, and nearly 300,000 people tuned into the livestream.
