ZFPA Restore Fund
Project description
Zero Foodprint Asia (ZFPA) is a HK based NGO that mobilizes the hospitality sector around agricultural climate solutions. ZFPA hosts a crowdfunding program that gathers funds from member food businesses such as restaurants, cafes, bars. Members pledge 1% of sales revenue to ZFPA to fund regenerative farming practices that draw down carbon from the atmosphere and help combat global warming.
Project features
With the goal of achieving net-zero "carbon foodprint", ZFPA helps member companies (including restaurants, cafes, bars, and food retailers) to combat climate change by educating them about the environmental impacts of food, and supporting the development of regenerative farming.
ZFPA also strives to raise farms' awareness about actions they can take to reduce carbon emissions and mitigate climate change, such as preserving biodiversity, exploring regenerative farming, and using healthy soil-building practices that can draw down tonnes of harmful CO2 from the atmosphere.
