Project description

Qingqing River Valley Eco-Farm has built its beautiful farmland based on its unique ecological environment and local conditions. They use a variety of organic farming methods to enrich the biodiversity of the farm. They also cooperate with other organizations to create experiential educational activities combining farming and food. By promoting the concepts of "food forest" and natural healing, the farm invited people to get out into the countryside, get close to nature, and learn about rural living..

Project features

Practicing Ecological farming to support local seasonal eating, biodiversity protection, and sustainable development: The farm practices "dynamic agriculture", rejecting chemical pesticides, fertilizers, herbicides, and genetic modification.

Experiential education combining organic farming and food: An architect by training, the founder transitioned from an urban career to rural life.Thus, he has a deeper understanding of urban consumers' needs. Utilizing the farm's natural geographical advantages, he combines farming experiences with food education activities such as nature observation and "food forest" practices, designing his farm and his activities around the local environment.

Food education curriculum development: In cooperation with Friends of Nature Gaia Design and other organizations, Qingqing River Valley Eco-Farm has developed a series of food education courses such as Natural Healing, Eco-Friendly Classroom, and Food Forest.
