The first round of Good Food Roadshow | 26 Good Food Education Workshops, but beyond 26 touching stories

Editor's Word


From April 15 to June 10, 2017, the first round of Good Food Roadshow, 26 Good Food educational workshops, more than 1,000 offline participants, nearly 90,000 live online audience.


For us passengers, what do these numbers mean? They are countless caring farmers, educators, entrepreneurs, promoters and ones who enlighten us and put Good Food into practice; they are inspired participants who start to really think about the real cost behind food and choose to live a sustainable lifestyle; they are all the selfless volunteers who contribute unreservedly to each workshop. There were endless interesting, touching stories. Let me first share some of the behind-the-scene foodtages here :)

With the most beautiful farmer's market "Farm to Neighbor" in Beijing, Good Food Roadshow was officially launched at Vegan Hut Restaurant.

What does a vegetarian planet look like?

Good Food Roadshow team came to the "Brown Rice" Space of Veg Planet. This planet is carefully taken care of by a group of young people with great enthusiasm. The ecological balcony plantation that is being promoted fits well with the Good Food's concept. Veg Planet is also our media support for this Roadshow.

A Good Food Roadshow was held in warm "Nanshan Waldorf Mother’s", a stylish vegetarian courtyard for sharing natural farming in the form of salon. And share what Good Food is with all friends who care about food

One Bodhi’s vegetarian yard is located in Xinzhuang, the most beautiful artistic village in Beijing. Good Food Roadshow with Nanshan Waldorf ’s parents, teachers, chefs and kids Together, we share delicious Good Food.

On Earth Day

Good Food joined hands with Xugeng Haiyang Organic Farm

Served pure organic vegetable lunch

Advocated the principle of zero food waste

Presented Good Food creative cooking

Our teacher Yiwen shared her transformation from the fashion industry to the food therapy field

She could not help shedding tears

This is far beyond a food educational workshop




Yantai university


Good Food Roadshow came to the campus for the first time

It ’s a pity that the college students here have never been to a farm

But we are happy to see that their curiosity about food

which led them to feel the potted herbs brought by Xugeng Farm

Taste organic vegetables in person

They brought their own utensils, with a caring heart for the environment




Good Food Roadshow then came to a western vegetarian restaurant in Shanghai

Strawberry lime beet raw cake has won many people's stomachs and hearts

Vegan cakes can be delicious and are guilt-free

It was also the work of the two teachers who worked overnight into the next morning




Good Food Roadshow was invited to attend the 2nd International Vegetarian Festival

The theme was "Plant Ideal World"

Two speeches + two Good Food cooking presentations that we shared with all friends who care about food, health and environment

We will create a more sustainable future




During the Labor Day Holiday

Good Food Roadshow joined hands with the cutest family farm, BIO

with multiple groups of families to share the cooking methods of

Cauliflower Tomato Pizza + Strawberry Beet Raw Cake

All food was surrounded by edible flowers and sprouts

They were loving and vital like everyone on the team


We learn tolerance and giving from nature

We experience the law and impermanence with the four seasons




Good Food Roadshow came to Health House in Ningbo

It is a health studio established by the founder Denise with second-hand recycled products

As one of the first twenty-one-day vegan challenge activities in Ningbo

Our teacher used local seasonal ingredients provided by Qihe Organic Farm to make seasonal vegetable soup + millet cauliflower puree + pressed salad

After the Roadshow, we did some shopping with Denise in the trash bin :)




Good Food Roadshow spent great efforts coming to Fuzhou Guizhenyuan Natural Agricultural Law Base


The elder Mr. Zeng has been suffering from diabetes for more than ten years

But completely recovered after trying a whole food plant-based diet

Finally got rid of the bondage of the health insurance card

Starting farming at the age of 75

He learns rice plantation through practice

We used the grains that Mr. Zeng grew to make a variety of healthy dipping sauces

We hope that the elderly who come to the Renai Health Center in the future can taste healthy Good Food




Good Food Roadshow and our joint office base Vanke Creative Community in Fuzhou shared Good Food with local Waldorf’s parents

The black bean tofu, sprouts, and perilla leaves used in cooking are all prepared and grown by Waldorf parents

On Mother's Day

Good Food Roadshow joined hands with Wuyi Yifangtian

We witnessed the joy of kids rolling vegetable noodles with their dads

There were also many parents who were taking notes attentively

We deeply felt the great value of food educational workshops, special gratitude to the chefs at 7080 restaurant for their help

We hope Good Food cooking offer such workers more inspiration




Good Food and Zhipu Health Center

Together, we held a successful workshop

From 7pm till late

No one wanted to leave

because of the story of the friendly farmer Mr. Zeng

or the fascinating taste of the beetroot raw cakes

We are looking forward to the smooth development of the "local community support agriculture" project initiated by Zhipu




Good Food team came to the beautiful ancient city Yangzhou

Invited by Weipu Cultural Co., Ltd., whose concept is "Protect The Environment for The Planet",

We shared two food educational workshops

Starting from my favorite little game "Which Vegetables Are In Season?" to the interval messaging exercise and the plant-based cooking demonstration

For five days, we stayed together like a family

Until the very end, they sent each of us a thank-you note

The encouraging applause from all participants

is our best feedback




Good Food team flew to Hong Kong

At the second stop in Hong Kong, we came to Catiline Kindergarten

Kids here sing, dance and chant traditional Chinese culture

The president of the kindergarten Mr. Wen has led staffs to read the Analects over ten years

We are fortunate to have nearly 100 teachers

to share the perspectives of food education




The third stop in Hong Kong, we came to the green vegetarian restaurant “Home”

Turns out that plant-based dishes can be this creative and beautiful




Good Food's trip to Taiwan started here

Thanks for the full cooperation of Taiwan Kai Ming Senior Technical and Commercial Vocational School’s teachers and students

And tried plant-based meals for the first time

We not only shared vegan baking

and also tips for food photography

Explored the real cost behind food with future chefs

Shared a more friendly and sustainable diet

We were deeply aware of its significance




 iVegan is not only a vegetarian restaurant, but also a vegetarian market.

From products to dishes, we integrated Good Food education in the theme of plant-based BBQ




This is an elementary school on a mountain

Many children are raised by grandparents

Tian, the principal of the elementary school, let the children learn the love for land, people and the nature

From farming and cooking

Good Food and Cabbage Experimental Kitchen

served a whole-food nutritious lunch for children

And us "children" who grew up in our cities

We hope they can always live as close to the nature

How real is that feeling...


Because of such a connection

our heart is pure and sincere

the love we share is merciful.

turn language into cuisine.


At present

While enjoying every plant-based dish

you not only supported the cultivation of our dearest land

also guarded the Siberian Garden

and children from Sadek Ballet Youth Dance Company.

We shared every little story happened in each booth with more people:

-The little cup for sample tasting was made by the "Red Cowboy" brother ten years ago

-Having been making tea for 20 years, he found that chemicals applied on plantation were extremely harmful to human body after his wife's pregnancy and decided to only make organic tea

-The old man who grows organic lychees said

"grow organic and natural food with the purest intention"


A strong sense of life and humanity

Mr. Meng Kai, the founder of the market, said

"We need to live a great and wonderful life,

then others and the following generations would like to live well like us"




The first round of Roadshow

ended in the theme of food education and party

A party of pure plant-based diet
