From November 6 to 18, the 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP27 for short) was held in Sharm El Sheikh, Good Food Youth Program Officer, who is also the Chinese ambassador of the Act4 Food Act4Change global youth campaign, was invited to Egypt to participate in COP27, connect with more international partners, explore collaboration opportunities, and bring China's voice to the international stage.

For the first time, COP featured pavilions on topics related to the food system.

The Good Food Biodiverse Ingredients Project was showcased at the Food4Climate venue at COP27, where the Good Food Youth Program Officer and the Good Food Biodiverse Ingredients Project Leader, Li Yihong, and co-lead Dr. Wang Zeyuan and Ma Mengyao discussed indigenous food culture and traditional food wisdom with the indigenous people of Tuvalu and Fiji.
